Churches in Haut Val de Sèvre

The monks of Saint-Maixent built some very beautiful ,small roman churches in the region.
eglise ste eanne Some of them are still existing in Haut Val de Sèvre in Azay, Saivres, Augé, Romans, Sainte-Eanne, Salles, Soudan, Pamproux, La Mothe-Saint-Héray, etc...
Many additions were made to the roman churches during the gothic period.
