Churches in Haut Val de Sèvres

Dedicated to Saint-Grégoire.
This church from the two first centuries of Christianity is roman, the nave had never been vaulted. The choir had been transformed during the gothic period.
The main entrance is found in the South side, protected by an over doorway.
Massive bell-tower, quite roman, with transept crossing.
To point out : The fortified chevet by crenels and " bretèches " - kind of architecture permitting the edifice defence - moulded on the buttresses.
