Sainte-Eanne

Churches in Haut Val de Sèvre

Dedicated to Saint-Emmeran.
This church is isolated in the middle of fields. It is a romanesque church with a sole nave covered in frame with a beautiful chevet and a shelter with vaults in "cul de four" (kind of barrel-vaults).
A chapel was built, by the Gillier family from La Villedieu in the 16th century, in its South side.
To point out the beautiful sculpted retable (15th century) and put ahead of the altar.
